On September 12, 2024, we lost an amazing person with an incredible heart, my best friend Toshene C. Fletcher, after a courageous 5 1/2- year battle with ALS.  Just a month shy of celebrating her 55th birthday on October 12, 2024.   She left a lasting mark on everyone she knew. Despite the challenges she faced, she was the embodiment of grace, always maintaining her sense of humor and caring deeply for her family and friends.

Now, as we grieve this profound loss and approach the annual walk to defeat ALS, Oct 5, we also want to honor Toshene by supporting a cause close to her heart.  This disease took her from us, but it could never take away her light, impact and legacy. In her memory, we are raising funds to support ALS research, patient care, and awareness, so that one day, we can see a world without ALS. She was approximately $3,000 short of her team goal of $15,000.
