Team JMM - Jeff's Pit Crew
Racing to the Checkered Flag for a Cure
We are Jeff's Pit Crew and we continue to walk in honor of Jeff's memory. This is our 6th year participating in the Walk to Defeat ALS.
We walk in memory of Jeffrey Moorhouse, who drove his final lap through the checkered flag of life on November 3, 2020 at the age of 48. He was a loving husband and father. He was also a wonderful son, brother and uncle. And he was a great friend to all.
Jeff was diagnosed with ALS in April 2018 but probably had it as early as April 2017 when weakness began in his hands. He battled and fought ALS for as long as he could. He is now whole again and watching over all of us.
Please consider joining our team and/or making a donation to help the ALS Association assist patients (pALS) and families affected by ALS.
Thank you,
Tammy

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
