Why we walk:

We walk for Lucy Ann Cook, who lost her battle with ALS in August of 2020 after suffering for 2 years. 

Lucy was born and raised in Tracy, CA. She had been married to husband, Bryan Cook, for 25 years. Lucy has 3 children, Brittany (26), DJ (34), and Angelica, (42) and 3 grandchildren, Maverick, Maddox and Liberty. Lucy had been a Target employee for 24 years before having to retire due to this disease. She has made a lot of friends while working there and enjoyed helping her regular customers and meeting new customers. 

For fun, she liked to sit outside, watch the hummingbirds fight each other, have a drink with her husband and play games with her family. Her husband has been an Oakland Raiders  (now Las Vegas Raiders) season ticket holder since 1995 and have gone to every home game since.

Over the years, Lucy and husband Bryan had the chance to travel to Puerto Rico, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Arizona, Florida, and road tripped to to South Dakota.
