In memory of our Steel Magnolia, Trudy Panepinto, a.k.a. Ouiser (Weezer), my family and I are asking for your help. WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP
ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. The disease is 100% fatal.
ALS takes away the ability to walk, dress, write, speak, swallow, and breathe. But, with every scientific advance, we get closer to the cure.
6,000 people are diagnosed with #ALS each year and nearly 20,000 Americans are living with ALS today. These are more than statistics to me, because they affect someone I love.
