Our family was a big part of support for my dad and usthroughout my dad's battle with ALS. They were always by his and ourside and always made sure my mom had help when needed. They loved their brother and unclevery much. My dad lovedbeing around his family. He believed in family staying together. All his sisters, nieces, nephews, and brother were his favorites. We,his immediate family knew he had much love for everyone. See my dad had a big heart. Most importantly the love of his life was beside him every step of the moment and that was my mom. He had the biggest heart for her. Even to the last day his main concern was for my mom. His reason for living was because he did not want to leave my mom alone and was concerned about how she would take care of herself. As always not thinking about himself but of his family especially his wife. My dad is missed very much. We miss his sense of humor, his smiles, and his caring of people. Rest in peace dad until we meet again.

Why We Need Your Help
Often referred to as Lou Gehrig's Disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of an ALS patient averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes another person will lose their battle against this disease. ALS occurs throughout the world with no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries.
This crippling disease can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease yet it still costs loved ones an average of $200,000 a year to provide the care ALS patients need. Help make a difference and donate or join a walk today.
