About the Event:
The 8th annual Jim Tracy 5k to Defeat ALS is a one-day community event for runners and walkers of all levels. We offer a timed 5k race, as well as a 1 mile walking route (not timed) in Golden Gate Park near Pioneer Log Cabin and Stow Lake.
Join us and register today as we come together as a community to defeat ALS in Jim Tracy's memory, for all of those we have lost, and to all of those we are running in honor of now.
If you are unable to join us in Golden Gate Park for the 2022 Jim Tracy 5k to Defeat ALS, we encourage you to register as a virtual participant and participate YOUR WAY from wherever you are in the world and help us raise much-needed funds for our ALS community.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that we have to transition entirely to a virtual event, registration fees will be converted into a meaningful donation and will be counted toward that participant's fundraising total.

Directions & Parking
The Jim Tracy 5k to Defeat ALS will start and finish at the Meadow near Pioneer Log Cabin and Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park (2 Stow Lake Drive, San Francisco, CA 94118).
Parking is available around Stow Lake from the MLK Drive entrance. From there, it is a short walk to the Meadow where you will see us. Alternatively, there is street parking on Fulton.

March 1 - April 21: $45
Race-day registration will be available on Sunday, April 24 at the Day-of Registration tent for $55
