Fred Abercrombie's Story

When Fred Abercrombie heard that his former coworkers were participating in the 2021 CEO Soak, he was immediately inspired. In 2019, Fred was diagnosed with ALS. But even before his ALS diagnosis, Fred was helping the ALS community through his work on a ventilator device that many people with ALS use to assist in their breathing. On event day, Fred met his former coworkers to show his support and thank them for supporting the ALS community. He even joined them to get Soaked! Fred has since passed away, but his family continues to do whatever it takes to make ALS a livable disease and to honor his legacy.
