The ALS Association Mission Statement
To lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.
Living Each Day to the Fullest
Facing ALS has not stopped Roger from being an adventurer at heart. Instead, his diagnosis inspired him to “see life in a completely different perspective” and truly live life to the fullest.
Determined to share his passion for life, Roger and his family filmed a pilot for a CBS special, “Live for the Moment,” which reveals how life-changing circumstances encourages people to make time for what is most important in life. You can share Roger’s courageous adventures and passion for living on Thursday, January 28 on the CBS Television Network. A special thank you to Emmy Award winners Jeff Probst and Mark Burnett for sharing Roger’s enthusiasm for life and creating new adventures for him and his family.
