Golden Strong.
Two simple words have totally embodied the strength my Mom has shown over the last two years. In 2018, Mom underwent her initial diagnosis, surgery to remove cancer masses, radiation, chemo, all while juggling her new life as a teacher, coach and kickass Nana. She has handled each obstacle with the grace of a goddess and the confidence of a fricken rockstar, and although she will never ever admit it, the courage she’s shown is an inspiration to me as well as everyone her life has touched.

We are truly thankful for her progress, and it’s organizations like Rays of Hope that have made her course of treatments possible. I am committed to raise funds in celebration of the 25th annual Rays of Hope – Walk & Run Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer in its new VIRTUAL format this year.

I’m looking for some help to raise funds to continue to kick cancer’s ass by participating in this year’s Rays of Hope Walk throughout the month of October. Whether you can spare $1, $10, $20... any amount helps me to reach my goal for our Golden Strong Team. If you have a few dollars to spare, it would mean the world to our family if you would donate.
