Welcome to Dottie O'Connell's Personal Page
As all of you know 2021/2022 was a challenging time for the O'Connell household - but thanks to the successful research that has been done on breast cancer I have come out the other end of this time with a bit less hair but a renewed vigor for Life!!!
One of the "silver linings" from this challenge was being introduced to the Paradise City Dragons. This is a team of breast cancer survivors and supporters who have formed an amazing team of dragon boat paddlers. The amount of positive energy in this team is palpable.
The Rays of Hope foundation has been a supporter of the Paradise City Dragons for a number of years so in appreciation of their support I am asking you to support me as I walk (my running days are long gone) on October 22, 2023, in the annual Rays of Hope – Walk & Run Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer.
Rays of Hope supports research at the Rays of Hope Center for Breast Cancer Research, treatment programs and services through the Baystate Health Breast Network, outreach and education and awards grants to support complementary therapies throughout western Massachusetts.
I can’t do this alone – I need your help to reach my fundraising goal. There is strength in numbers and together we can make a difference. All funds raised remain local.
Please make a contribution toward my goal in support of such an outstanding organization. Your donation is fully tax-deductible.
Thank you!
