Watershed Restoration Project Manager

Buzzards Bay Coalition seeks an experienced ecological restoration professional to join our Watershed Protection team managing ecological restoration projects in the Bay’s watershed. The Watershed Restoration Project Manager will manage the development, design/engineering, permitting and implementation/construction of coastal, wetland and riverine ecological restoration projects throughout the Buzzards Bay watershed.  Projects include saltmarsh and freshwater wetland restoration (including wetland restoration in retired cranberry bogs), stream channel and bank restoration, and addressing fish passage barriers including removal of dams and replacement of culverts.  This position will also coordinate the Buzzards Bay Watershed Restoration Partnership to identify and prioritize the most important new ecological restoration projects to advance in the Bay watershed. Manager of Member Engagement

The Buzzards Bay Coalition seeks an experienced, high-energy Manager of Member Engagement. Reporting to the Director of Public Engagement, the Manager of Member Engagement will manage the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s Membership with the goal of retaining and growing the Coalition’s membership base in alignment with annual goals. This includes managing the Coalition’s social media accounts, organizing and participating in engagement events to steward and recruit members, and overseeing the volunteer program, a crucial component to the execution and success of our signature fundraising events and Coalition programs. Events & Engagement Intern

The Buzzards Bay Coalition seeks a highly organized, energetic, and enthusiastic individual to serve as our Events & Engagement Intern. This internship will support Advancement staff with the planning and execution of the Coalition’s signature events, as well as community engagement activities that build supporters for the Coalition’s mission and assisting with various administrative tasks. Marketing & Communications Intern (Fall 2024)

The Buzzards Bay Coalition seeks a highly-organized, energetic, and enthusiastic individual to serve as Marketing & Communications Intern. This internship will support Advancement staff with the planning and execution of the Coalition’s communications plan, as well as generating content to tell the story of the organization, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This position will require 20 hours per week, including nights and weekends as needed, and is based at the Coalition’s Administrative Headquarters in New Bedford’s Waterfront Historic District.
