Buzzards Bay is one of the most beautiful coastal waterways on the East Coast. But it's under constant threat from dangers like nitrogen pollution, oil spills, and disappearing forests and wetlands.
You can help us save Buzzards Bay by donating to our upcoming Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride on Sunday, October 2. Our team will be doing our part by joining hundreds of others in cycling around the Bay to raise funds for and awareness of the need to restore and protect clean water in our community.
One donation at a time, over 15 years, riders like us have raised over a million dollars to fight pollution, permanently protect natural areas, harness the power of science, and increase access to the outdoors for all people.
The Bourne Rail Trail Blazers have played a major role in this effort. Last year, we once again finished as the top fundraising team in the Ride, raising $44,385 for the Coalition's important work, and thanks to our generous matching donors, raising an equal amount for the effort to create the Bourne Rail Trail. We also continued our multi-year streak as the largest team, with 43 riders. Let's do it again this year!
Through this challenging event, we're hoping to raise funds for Coalition's conservation, research, advocacy, education work. Your donation will truly make a difference in helping to protect clean water for all of us - and for future generations!
Thank you for your support!
P.S. The Watershed Ride finish line is located at the Swope Center in Woods Hole and the public is invited to come cheer us on from 2-5pm. Hope to see you there!
