I'm swimming for clean water at the Buzzards Bay Swim!
Welcome!
Five years ago, I swam the 1.2 miles across New Bedford Harbor to raise funds to protect clean water in our community. Now, I'm swimming it again, but this time as a parent, a farmer, and an advocate for clean water and environmental health. Today, I know that clean water is more important than ever and it's one of our most valuable resources.
“Women have a natural bond with water, because we are both life bearers,” my sister said. “We carry our babies in internal ponds and they come forth into the world on a wave of water. It is our responsibility to safeguard the water for all our relations.”

You can help restore Buzzards Bay by donating to my upcoming Buzzards Bay Swim on Saturday, June 24.
Through this challenging event, I'm hoping to meet or exceed my fundraising goal to support the Buzzards Bay Coalition's important work across conservation, research, advocacy, and education. Any amount - big or small - truly makes a difference in helping to protect clean water for today, and for future generations.
Thank you for your support!
If you prefer not to donate online, you can fill out this form and return it along with your payment to the Buzzards Bay Coalition, 114 Front Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. If you're sending a check, please make sure the swimmer's name is written on the check.
