I'm swimming for clean water at the Buzzards Bay Swim!
Hello to all of my generous supporters,
It is June again, and I am swimming the Buzzards Bay Swim for a third year in a row! The swim is an incredible cause to raise money to keep our Bay clean. Not only do I love to swim, but I am also new to the sport of kiteboarding. There are many incredible places to harness the wind and fly across the water in Buzzards Bay. I would love to help in all of the efforts the BBC does to keep it a healthy place for many years to come! Please consider donating to my fundraising page. A huge thank you to all of you. And let me know if you'd like to get out and play in the water with me soon.
Sincerely,
Lucy Snyder
Note from Buzzards Bay Coalition:
Buzzards Bay is one of the most beautiful coastal waterways on the East Coast, but it's under constant threat from dangers like nitrogen pollution, oil spills, and disappearing forests and wetlands.
You can help save Buzzards Bay by donating to my upcoming Buzzards Bay Swim on Saturday, June 24. I’ll be doing my part by joining hundreds of others in swimming 1.2 miles across outer New Bedford Harbor as we raise funds for and awareness of the need to protect clean water in our community.
Through this challenging event, I'm hoping to meet or exceed my fundraising goal to support the Buzzards Bay Coalition's important work across conservation, research, advocacy, and education. Any amount - big or small - truly makes a difference in helping to protect clean water for today, and for future generations.
Thank you for your support!
If you prefer not to donate online, you can fill out this form and return it along with your payment to the Buzzards Bay Coalition, 114 Front Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. If you're sending a check, please make sure the swimmer's name is written on the check.
