My 20th time at the Buzzards Bay Swim!
Buzzards Bay is one of the most beautiful coastal waterways on the East Coast and it's under constant threat from dangers like nitrogen pollution, oil spills, and disappearing forests and wetlands.
You can help protect Buzzards Bay by donating to my upcoming Buzzards Bay Swim on Saturday, June 22. This will be my 20th (and last) time swimming 1.2 miles across outer New Bedford Harbor and raising funds for and awareness of the need to protect clean water in our community.
Through this challenging event, I'm hoping to raise $5000 (my largest amount ever) to support the Buzzards Bay Coalition's important work across conservation, research, advocacy, and education. Any amount - big or small - truly makes a difference in helping to protect clean water for today, and for future generations.
Thank you for your support!
If you prefer not to donate online, you can fill out this form and return it along with your payment to the Buzzards Bay Coalition, 114 Front Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. If you're sending a check, please make sure the swimmer's name is written on the check.
