Escorted Adult Swimmer (19 and up) - $25.00 Escorted swimmers swim with their own dedicated kayak escort. We recommend this participation type for first-time swimmers. You must secure your own escort and have them register on this site as soon as possible and no later than 1 week before the Swim. One kayaker per swimmer, no doubling up allowed. Minimum fundraising is $300 for adults.

Escorted Youth Swimmer (18 and under) - $25.00 Escorted swimmers swim with their own dedicated kayak escort. We recommend this participation type for first-time swimmers. Unescorted Adult Swimmer (19 and up) - $25.00 Unescorted swimmers swim on their own without a dedicated kayak escort. In order to do so you must have either a.) successfully completed the Buzzards Bay Swim in the last 5 years or b.) you must submit qualifications to events@savebuzzardsbay.org as soon as possible and no later than 1 week prior to the swim. Lifeguard - Unescorted (limited availability) - $25.00 Unescorted swimmers swim on their own without a dedicated kayak escort. In order to do so you must have either a.) successfully completed the Buzzards Bay Swim in the last 5 years or b.) you must submit qualifications to events@savebuzzardsbay.org as soon as possible and no later than 1 week prior to the swim. See more on the Qualifications page (under the About menu). Minimum fundraising is $150 for lifeguards.

Kayak Escort - No Fee Age 18 or older only. Kayak escorts guide swimmers across the 1.2 mile Buzzards Bay Swim course. All kayak escorts must provide their own kayak and meet our qualification requirements - see more on our Qualifications page under the "About" menu. No paddleboards are allowed. Kayakers are not required to fundraise, but are welcome to do so! Kayakers may also donate in support of their swimmer.
