EMPOWER POTENTIAL!

Our Littles are our family:  

• We met our Little Brother, Dylan in 2008 and it has been so much fun watching him grow up. Today he's married, taking college courses and just bought a house! We still talk, text and hang out and we recently got to tour his new home. 
• We were matched up to our Little Brother, Mark in 2019. We recently surprised him with a habachi grill dinner for his 12th birthday and we've experienced a lot of firsts with him like sledding, golfing, attending a high school basketball game, Chiefs game and so much more. He's so much fun! 
• My Little Sister, Pearl and I met back in 2009 and we still text and hang out often. She's one of the most positive, resilient and brave people I know. I'll always be standing in her corner and cheering her on. She has a great job and just moved into a new apartment near us! 

BBBSKC relies on staff, amazing volunteer mentors, and donors just like you to support over 1,250 Big and Little friendships in our community. When matched with a Big, 100% of Little Brothers and Sisters in Kansas City graduate high school on-time, and 84% report improved self-esteem. Right now, there are 250 Littles waiting for a Big. We are working to reach our fundraising goal so these kids can be matched with a positive, caring mentor.

The BBBSKC program is free to Littles and their families, but it costs $1,500 to support a match for a year, and $250 to recruit each new Big. When you give, your generosity helps empower the potential of the next generation of college graduates, community leaders, and entrepreneurs. This is our 18th year being involved with BBBSKC and Summer Bowl for Kids' Sake so we are trying to raise $18,000! Year after year, we are blown away by the support we receive from our coworkers, friends and family.
