We'd love for you to join our summer fundraising campaign to support Big Brothers Big Sisters.  This mission means so much to us because without positive mentors in our lives, we wouldn't be who we are today.  What we love about Big Brothers Big Sisters is that the mission is about friendship and how those friendships can change your life.  Our life would not be as fulfilled and happy without the amazing friendships we've developed as kids, in high school, at Northwest, after we graduated, as we had our babies, as our kids got older and into activities, as we started our careers.  Along the way we've created a village of friendships and people who have been mentors to us.  Life would not be complete without those people we've met along the way that have become our family. 

Mentors and friendships impact everyone's lives for the better but when you think about kids who don't have the village around them, they are even more important, even urgent, because without positive people in their life they can take a path that leads to negative outcomes.  Big Brothers Big Sisters introduces those positive mentors and friends to kids who need and want them.  They are with them when challenges happen like the passing of a close friend or relative or they are being bullied at school and they are with them for the best times in their life, like when they are their first in their family to graduate, or they stand beside them on their wedding day.  There's no amount of money that would equal what it means for a friend to be there for you when you need it.

By donating, you are helping us create more of those friendships and you are helping us defend the potential of kids who need us the most.
