Summer Bowl for Kids’ Sake benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City (BBBSKC)!  BBBSKC focuses on the children and teens that need us the most, which includes those from one-guardian households, children that are dealing with the death or illness of a close family member, are living with relatives, whose parent is deployed, are living in foster care and are growing up with an incarcerated parent or sibling to name a few.  They match these children with a caring, adult mentor in the BBBSKC program who stands with them to help them reach their full potential.

When Matched with a Big:

• 71% of Kansas City Littles improve their grades 
• 87% of Littles say they have higher self-esteem
• 97% believe their Big has a positive impact
• Again this year, 100% of Littles in their senior year of high school graduated
