We're excited to be participating in this year’s Summer Bowl for Kids’ Sake event that benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City (BBBSKC)!  BBBSKC focuses on the children and teens that need us the most, which includes those from one-guardian households, children that are dealing with the death or illness of a close family member, are living with relatives, whose parent is deployed, are living in foster care and are growing up with an incarcerated parent or sibling to name a few.  They match these children with a caring, adult mentor in the BBBSKC program who stands with them to help them reach their full potential.

When Matched with a Big:

• 71% of Kansas City Littles improve their grades 
• 87% of Littles say they have higher self-esteem
• 97% believe their Big has a positive impact
• Again this year, 100% of Littles in their senior year of high school graduated

I hope you’ll join our campaign by donating. All funds stay local to help kids in our community and will help us support the 1,200 current Bigs and Littles and Match more of the 200+ kids that are waiting.
