Welcome to Ellen's Personal Page
My dad was a wonderful man that fought hard against bladder cancer. At the time, we didn't know BCAN existed, but I can only imagine how much having a support group would've helped him. That's what your funds do - they help scientists create treatments AND they help connect bladder cancer patients all over the world. Recently, BCAN has spoken about bladder cancer at some of the major cancer conventions, allowing doctors from around the world to learn of new treatments and new research. Again, that's thanks to you!
My goal this year is to raise $3,600. This number is significant for Jewish people, as we often give in multiples of 18 (chais). "Chai" means life in English, and I want to ensure bladder cancer patients have a full life.
Thank you for considering giving in honor of my dad, Sam. We'd also love for you to join us on the walk on May 18th!
