As some of you may know in June 2021 I was diagnosed with high-grade bladder cancer. After one round of immunotherapy and three rounds of chemo I am now in remission. During treatment the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network helped me connect with a bladder cancer survivor who provided a personalize level of much needed support and encouragement that made the uncertainty of treatment easier to bear.
I am raising funds for the more than 723,000 people living with bladder cancer in the United States, to support the nearly 83,000 people who will be diagnosed this year, and to honor those who fought this disease to the end. The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) is the only national advocacy organization devoted to advancing bladder cancer research and supporting those impacted by the disease.
