BCAN of Hope

On May 4th, we are walking as a team to support the incredible organization our friend Rachel recently joined, the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN). BCAN is the only national advocacy organization devoted to advancing bladder cancer research and supporting those impacted by the disease. They provide free educational materials and support services to help the more than 725,000 people living with bladder cancer in the US.

Despite being the 7th most commonly diagnosed cancer in the U.S., bladder cancer rarely captures the spotlight in national conversations about cancer.  Raising awareness can lead to early diagnosis, better outcomes, and a stronger support network for those impacted.

The DC Walk to End Bladder Cancer is a day to honor the survivors, caregivers, family, and medical professionals who grapple with the realities of this disease every day. By supporting the walk, you are making a direct impact on building the support system for the bladder cancer community.
Here's how you can make a difference:

1. JOIN OUR TEAM: Local to DC? Join our team and walk with us!

2. DONATE NOW: Your generous donation will provide crucial support to individuals battling bladder cancer and contribute to our goal. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact.
