BCAN has been assisting the bladder cancer community in many ways since it's inception in 2005.

BCAN has been instrumental in bringing about much needed changes in bladder cancer treatment protocols, by holding annual "Think Tank" meetings.   At these meetings, physicians, research scientists, clinicians, patients, caregivers, etc, meet together to discuss needs personal and particular to bladder cancer.  Over the years, as a result of these meetings, there have been many new medicines made available to combat this horrific disease, as well as new treatment options.
