The Fraser Valley Cancer Centre urgently needs to be renovated and expanded. Originally built to accommodate 2,500 patients, the Centre now cares for an additional 3,315 new patients each year—it is well over capacity. For example, the majority of meetings between doctors and patients are taking place in temporary trailers across the parking lot from the main building!

Plans are in place to help bring everything under one roof and expand capacity, but we need the help of the community to make this a reality.

Once the renovation is complete:

  • We'll have 8 more chemotherapy chairs, which means we'll have the ability to provide up to 4,300 more chemotherapy treatments.
  • We'll be able to meet our capacity of an additional 13,000 Ambulatory Care Unit visits with the additional examination rooms and stretchers.
  • We'll have a permanent home for all our researchers and clinicians.

Offering so many more treatments and having all of our extraordinary researchers and clinicians under one roof is going to vastly improve cancer journeys for patients here in the Fraser Valley. So please, make a donation today and help expand the Fraser Valley Centre!
