Crafts of Compassion was started by Dr. Vashi and her two young children who started crafting and selling little tin cans when the COVID pandemic hit. In 2020, the children were able to donate $2000.00 to the COVID Recuperation Unit that was caring for homeless patients. Now 3 years later, their enjoyment of making crafts and helping the less fortunate continues.
The tin cans have currently been transitioned to jewelry. With every purchase you make of a stylish hand-made pair of earrings, you will be directly donating to Boston Medical Center.
Thank you for considering a donation to "Crafts of Compassion", which is being designated to The Homelessness Support General Use Fund which supports homelessness, housing initiatives, and supportive care in addition to the Vashi Skin of Color Institute Philanthropic Initiatives.

Dr. Vashi is a board-certified dermatologist at Boston Medical Center and Associate Professor of Dermatology at Boston University. You can pick up your earrings in the Dermatology Outpatient Suite (725 Albany Street, 8th floor) on Wednesdays/Thursdays or at Office of Development on the 2nd Floor, 960 Massachusetts Avenue where there is free visitor parking).
