UPDATE: BRAIN TUMOUR FOUNDATION OF CANADA STATEMENT!
2020 Brain Tumour Walk Program goes Virtual!
Our next steps to #EndBrainTumours together
There has been so much change for us all these last weeks in light of COVID-19, and likely even more in the weeks to come. With that change comes a flood of uncertainty …we just don’t know what the future holds for ourselves and all those we love and care for.
What we do know is this very hour someone, somewhere in Canada will still hear the words, “you have a brain tumour”.
We also know it is because of your participation and fundraising in our annual Brain Tumour Walk program that Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada can provide help and bring hope.
That's why, in these uncertain times , the need for your support and participation in our 2020 Brain Tumour Walk program is greater than ever! Despite challenges beyond our control, we have seized the opportunity to create something truly special.
We have put our heads together and have reimagined our current walk program, transforming it into a national, virtual program for all 2020 Brain Tumour Walk events. While we are still working out the finer details, we can tell you that we will still come together to support, celebrate and remember. The only difference is a change of scenery. Come 2021, we can look forward to walking side by side once again.
Our community is strong and our spirits resilient. We can do this!
Please keep registering and fundraising, stay connected and be part of our next steps to #EndBrainTumours using #VirtualBrainTumourWalk always remembering #YouAreNotAlone.
