I am walking for Preston
I’m part of the movement to end brain tumours and I hope you’ll join me in this Canada-wide effort to put a stop to this disease.
On Feb 28, 2017 a long time friend and her husband found out their 4 month old son's routine checkup was much more urgent resulting in a very serious brain tumour. After surgery and chemo this aggressive tumor reappeared. Biopsy confirmed it was Medulloblastoma. After a hard fight by Preston, 6 months and two days old, heaven gained another precious angel.
Funds raised by the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada go directly to support Dr. Singh's research lab at McMaster, including the Preston Smith Research fund, as well as many of their other incredible research projects.
On Saturday June 27th, I am walking in hopes that no more Mommies will ever have to say goodbye to their babies.
Please, share his story, and keep Preston's name alive!
Thank you for your support,
By signing up for a Brain Tumour Walk, I’m making a commitment to end brain tumours and to help provide the essential information and support that every person diagnosed deserves.
All money raised through Brain Tumour Walk events strengthens the national movement to end this life-changing disease and brings hope to individuals and families across the country:
Hope for progress in discovering the cause of brain tumours.
Hope for better treatments for every child and adult diagnosed.
And most of all, the hope for a cure.
Thank you for supporting me, and more importantly, for helping the 55,000 Canadians who live with a brain tumour today.
Share this video to encourage family and friends to support you.
