We are part of the movement to end brain tumours and I hope you’ll support me and my team in this Canada-wide effort to put a stop to this disease.
On October 27th our sister Christine (Tina)was diagnosed with glioblastoma/brain cancer. She underwent a 5 hour surgery at Winnipeg Health Science Center but unfortunately they where unable to remove it all. She has since had a course radiation and is receiving a series of chemotherapy treatments. Her spirits are high and is giving Cancer a good fight.
Our family has registered a team for the WINNIPEG BRAIN TUMOUR WALK 2019 on Saturday,June 22/19 at Assiniboine park. Much research needs to be done to make Brain Cancer a more manageable diagnosis. Our team is called Team Tina. If you have been touched by Cancer and are interested in supporting this cause you can go on line and join our team and make a donation to Team Tina at the following link.
Our goal is to raise $5000.00. Please share this with any interested friends or family. Thank you all so much!
By signing up for a Brain Tumour Walk, me and my team have made a commitment to end brain tumours and to help provide the essential information and support that every person diagnosed deserves.
All money raised through Brain Tumour Walk events strengthens the national movement to end this life-changing disease and brings hope to individuals and families across the country:
Hope for progress in discovering the cause of brain tumours.
Hope for better treatments for every child and adult diagnosed.
And most of all, the hope for a cure.
Thank you for supporting me and my team, and more importantly, for helping the 55,000 Canadians who live with a brain tumour today.
