Shelley's Stepping Seahorses

Welcome to the team page of Shelley's Stepping Seahorses!

WHY WE WALK

We walk in honour of Shelley McGlynn, our mother, grandmother, wife, friend, sister, colleague and neighbour. Shelley was diagnosed with a brain tumour in November 2014. She continues to live a full life with this disease — inspiring us all!

JOIN US

We invite you to be part of the movement to end brain tumours. Please consider donating to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.

All money raised through Brain Tumour Walk events strengthens the national movement to end this life-changing disease and brings hope to individuals and families across the country.

ABOUT OUR TEAM NAME

Before her diagnosis, Shelley was an adventerous scuba diver. She loved seahorses! And so we named our team after the seahorse, known to be a lucky charm and a symbol of strength and power.
