The Lazy Susans
Our team is taking part in this years Brain Tumour Walk in memory of Susan Nelson Sullivan ,who passed away in 2002 at the age of 40. This is the 7th year for our team, The Lazy Susans.
Patients and families need information, support and education. We also need more research. There are too few treatments for this disease and survival needs to be improved.
Every day 27 Canadians learn they have a brain tumour. By signing up for a 2016 Brain Tumour Walk, me and my team have made a commitment to end brain tumours and to help provide the essential information and support that every person diagnosed deserves.
All money raised through Brain Tumour Walks strengthen the national movement to end this life-changing disease and bring hope to individuals and families across the country:
Hope for progress in discovering the cause of brain tumours.
Hope for better treatments for every child and adult diagnosed.
And most of all, the hope for a cure.
Thank you for supporting me and my team, and more importantly, for helping the 55,000 Canadians who live with a brain tumour today.
