Bay Area Brain Tumor Walk

Kevin is My Hero

Welcome to team Kevin Is My Hero!!!!!

Come out and walk with us for our first team walk.

On November 12th 2018 Kevin was admitted to the Emergency room after 30 days of symptoms (Fever, vomit, lethargy, neck tilt, neck pain,) and no diagnosis. At the initial CT Scan, a mass on his brain was found. Kevin was diagnosed with an Ependymoma Grade III anaplastic brain tumor.
On November 14, 2018 Kevin underwent surgery at Oakland Kaiser Permanente to have the mass removed. Neurosurgeons believe they were able to remove all parts of the tumor. Kevin was hospitalized for the next 53 days. He completed 33 rounds of radiation therapy treatment on February 19, 2019.

In March 2019 Kevin had an MRI which shows No Evidence of Disease. He is an absolute Superstar!!!!!!!!

Our family appreciates your support and taking the time to come join us walking for a great cause.
