November 2018 my mom ended up having a series of seizures... With further MRI scans we found out she had brain cancer. It's been a long few emotional months with more MRI's and an awake craniotomy, radiation, chemo, and lots of therapies on her road to recovery. My mom is the bravest most courageous person I know. We have amazing medical professionals at John Muir and UCSF during this journey treating my mom's Anaplastic Oligiodendroglioma brain cancer - so for her I walk... I walk for this woman who is a fighter, I walk to help all the people who have helped us along the way, and anyone else who suffers from this or has been affected. WE LIVE ANOTHER DAY, SO WE FIGHT ANOTHER DAY!
Please help me reach my goal and donate to the Bay Area Brain Tumor Walk. My Team name is Forza Ferrari, which means Ferrari strength in Italian, because I have a family of fighters and supporters that I know will get through this!
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight.
National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
