The SEEDS OF FAITH team marches onward while looking upward!
Dear Family and Friends,
It has now been over seven years since the diagnosis of my meningioma, and I continue to celebrate my blessings every day! My checkup at MUSC in January 2018 showed my tumor remains stable with no growth at all since the gamma knife radiation in 2013; but it is continuing to show density changes - which is a good thing, so it was an excellent report!
But imagine if you were trucking along in your life just fine and you start to have vision trouble. An ophthalmalogist sends you for tests and BAM! You have not one, but two brain tumors! So you spend several weeks in the hospital as they poke and prod and test and look for answers. Then you learn it's a malignant germinoma, and you will have chemotherapy and radiation and possible surgery. And if that doesn't scare you, what if you turned SIXTEEN while in the hospital trying to take all this in?!?!
That's what the nephew of a very dear paralegal friend of mine is going through right now. I ask you to think of this teenager Logan, think of his mother and father, think of his family, think of others like him..........and, if you do nothing else, please say a prayer! Logan and others are fighting tough battles right now and need your help!!
As for me, I'm just as "thick-headed" as ever and more blessed than I deserve! My heartfelt appreciation for your continued thoughts and prayers! God is GOOD!
Please join me - either virtually or for the walk in Charleston on May 19 - for this wonderful cause! We are grateful for all your support and any donation you are able to make. It personally means so much to me!
God's blessings abound - for you and me!
