Welcome to My Personal Page
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, because a brain tumor took Scott Argraves, my husband, father of my children and my best friend. I need your help in this fight. Scott had a glioblastoma, the most common form of primary malignant brain tumors, which has a five-year relative survival rate of only 5.1%. Brain tumors are not rare, currently 1/3390 people in the US have a primary malignant brain tumor. Despite the staggering number of people afflicted with brain tumors, and their devastating prognosis, there have only been four (4) FDA approved drugs and one device to treat brain tumors in the past 30 years. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. There are no effective treatments for glioblastoma or many other brain tumors. Please join in my effort!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research and advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
