Timmy's Titans 2020

“Lord, you know how I long for my health once more. You hear my every sigh.” (Psalm 38:9)

2020! Hard to believe it has been almost 12 years since Tim was diagnosed with a gioblastoma. And so many more have been impacted by a brain tumor, Jim O's uncle, Jim B's & Rejeana's friend and team walker's, dear Pickleball Pals across the country, GiGi's husband Jolly, a friend from high school, several clients and colleagues, two people from our seniors group at church and so many more family and friends The National Brain Tumor Walk in Ft. Worth has been our way of honoring Tim and all the others in helping fight the battle against brain tumors. Your contributions to cancer research ultimately helps all forms of cancer. It is such an insidious disease and so many loved ones have been affected by this awful disease.

Every year, we learn of friends or family struck with a brain tumor. With our first walk on 05/31/2009, we raised over $5000.00.. This will be the 10th walk. raising over $18,000 for cancer research. This year we are having a VIRTUAL Event. On Saturday November 7th, we will join the Fort Worth event which will be streamed live.  I will set up a Zoom event for all the donors to come together to watch annd hear about the advancements in treatment and listen to the inspiring and amazing stories of survival by brain tumor patients themselves!  It is truly inspiring.

AND........drum roll.......Kathy Hodges, a friend from High School, has donated a mystery quilt that is absolutely beautiful.  For each donation, we will enter you in a drawing for the quilt which we will do via Zoom on that Saturday.  1 entry for $25, 2 for $50, 4 for $75 and 5 for $100, and 10 for anything over $100 and 20 for $250 or more.  You have until November 7th to donate and then come join us virtually

Let's break the bank and have a great event. Mark your calendars for Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020 for Trinity Park, Fort Worth. Join us for another great walk.

Thank each and every one of you for uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. We are passionate about this cause, so are taking action. We need your help in this fight. May God bless all our participants and their generosity in supporting this year's team members.
