Welcome to My Personal Page
I am Walking in Memory of my brother Andy "Drew" Jonas who lost his battle two years ago at 50.
Andy, was smart, adventurous, annoying, and all around an amazing person. Andy loved to use his brain, he read a lot (mainly fantasy) but he also had a masters and learned languages easily (German and Mandarin). The diagnosis came and Andy warned us about the three year life expectancy but I had "hope" that he was a fighter and would prove them wrong. I did not bother to check the facts because everyone wanted us to stay POSITIVE. Seeing Andy in the weeks prior to his death was heartbreaking knowing that his body was fighting so hard but the infections were weakeing him.
So I chose to remember the smart outgoing, annoying younger brother and the man who moved a world away to Taiwan got married and gave my parents their first grandchild and my first newphew.
So today I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action. I need your help in this fight. National Brain Tumor Society will not rest until a cure exists - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
