Team Ted NJ Brain Tumor Walk Saturday May 11
This Saturday family and friends will join together in support of my brother Ted to raise awareness for the National Brain Tumor Society.
Ted was diagnosed in 2006 with a Grade II Oligodendroglioma which is a slow growing tumor of the primary central nervous system. Ted's first surgery was successfull however in 2016 the tumor did start to grow again. This time surgery was not an option and Ted received radiation treatment. We have sadly just learned that there is again new tumor growth. The good news is that because of advances in neurosurgey Ted has found an outstanding doctor who will be able to perform a second surgery with a very high success rate of removing the entire tumor.
Ted has and continues to have an amazing and admirable positive outlook and we know he will once again pull through this with flying colors.
Ted's crazy sense of humor, big heart and ability to be a friend to all he meets helps us to get thru this as well. Please consider making a donation to the National Brain Tumor Society. Thank you for your support. Best, Nancy
