Welcome to My Personal Page
Hi all & welcome to Team Russell's Legacy!
This page is dedicated in loving memory of my father, Russell Paniccia, who I lost to a brain tumor just 4 days after my 1st birthday. Although the time I had with my dad was short, I am grateful for the memorable photographs and videos that I have to hold close to me forever. My dad was unbelievably strong and brave during his 2 year battle; he never felt bad for himself or blamed anyone for the cause of his illness. My dad was a fighter and while fighting his toughest battle, he still remained selfless, loving, and kind, how we will always remember him. Even during his darkest days, my dad thought of me, my mom, and the rest of our family as an inspiration to always stay positive. He is my forever hero. My goal is to raise enough money so other families around the world will never have to endure the same pain and agony that mine went through. I will continue to fight back and raise money until the day comes when no one has to hear the words, "you have cancer" ever again. No one deserves to go through the immense heartache of losing a loved one.
I am walking in memory of my father, Russell. I am the co-captain of my team, along with my uncle; Zizi Dom. Our team name is Russell’s Legacy! This will be our 8th year participating in the New York City Walk. Our team alone has raised over $150,000 toward brain cancer research already! I really would love it if you would join me in the walk or make a donation toward this very important cause.
