Welcome to My Personal Page
As you may or may not know, my wife Diana lost her first husband (Russell Paniccia) to brain cancer almost 19 years ago. After a long two year battle, he passed away just four days after his daughter's 1st birthday.
I met Diana 15 months after he passed away and although I never met Russell, I have heard many wonderful stories about him. Although I can never replace him as Jessica's dad, I was honored to adopt Jessica when she was in first grade and she has been a blessing to me ever since. Jessica is now 19 years old and she is a beautiful, intelligent and funny young lady. Along with our other three children (Alec, Alyssa and Jason), we are all thrilled to be doing this in memory of Russell. Another way that we remember Russell each and every day is through our youngest son, who we named Jason Russell.
Having witnessed first hand how this disease devastates not only the immediate family, but all the extended family and friends as well, I was honored to join the walk to try and put an end to this terrible illness. This will be our eighth year participating in the New York City Walk. Our team alone has raised over $150,000 toward brain cancer research already!
This year, I am asking that you please make all donations under Jessica's page. I fully support her and her passion, and hope you will help Jessica achieve her goal to help others. Please copy and paste the following into your web browser to be directed to Jessica's page:
National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) is a putting the search for a cure into overdrive. There has already been great progress in the past 18 years treating the same type of brain tumor that Russell had but there is so much more to be done. Please support my efforts!
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research and advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
