New York City Brain Tumor Walk

Vicky Bee

Hi everyone! So as some people may know, about a year and a half ago I found out I had a brain tumor. Finding this information out as I was starting out my senior year of high school was extremely overwhelming. Not knowing what would happen after I underwent brain surgery, not knowing if my seizures would stop and not knowing if I would be able to live out one of the best years of my life got me so nervous. Thankfully, after surgery we found out my tumor was benign and I would be okay. After going for MRI’s every few months, I get a relief every time I see I am brain tumor free. However, I know that there are people struggling with brain tumors and brain cancer on a day to day basis. I can’t help but feel pain for them. Since the moment I opened my eyes after surgery I knew I wanted to help others who are going through what I went through or even worse. On June 9,2019 team “Vicky Bee” will be walking at the National Brain Tumor Society walk. Together, I believe we can raise money and walk for a cause that I have so much passion for. If you are interested in walking with team “Vicky Bee” please contact me! Thank you
