NYU Brain Tumor Center
NYU Langone’s Brain Tumor Center, part of Perlmutter Cancer Center, is honored to be participating in the NBTS Brain Tumor Walk this year. We are a team of neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, neuropathologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff.
We consider it a privilege to be at the frontline, along with our patients, in the fight against brain tumors.
At the event, our very own Dr. Dimitris Placantonakis will be speaking about the strides being made in brain tumor research, the work that is currently being done here at NYU Langone Health, and the importance of funding for brain tumor research. He will be joined by caregivers and patients who will be speaking about their journeys.
Come join us as we walk to honor our patients, their caregivers, brain tumor survivor/thrivers, and to remember those we have lost.
National Brain Tumor Society is fiercely committed to finding a cure for brain tumors. They are aggressively driving strategic research and advocating for public policies that meet the critical needs of the brain tumor community. Your support ensures this important work will continue.
