Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Cassidy Turley and DTZ) became involved as the title sponsor of the Race for Hope in 2000 after Cassidy Turley’s co-founder, Pat Cassidy, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Before Pat succumbed to the disease in 2001, he took great pride in knowing that his company was taking a leadership role in helping to raise funds for brain tumor research, a tradition that we continue in 2019, as the Race for Hope celebrates its 22nd Anniversary on May 5th.

“The year we became involved in the Race for Hope, $175,000 in total was raised,” said Peter Carroccio, Cushman & Wakefield’s Regional Managing Principal. “We have come a long way since then and are thrilled to be continuing this tradition of title sponsor for the 22nd Anniversary of the Race.” Since Pat was diagnosed, all of those lives he touched have worked each year to raise funds for brain tumor research and we are thrilled to be spreading this support across Cushman & Wakefield. Last year, our team raised $204,000 during this event. This year, our ambitious team goal is $210,000!

Please support our company, the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure as we work to find a cure for this disease. Your support will help us ensure we reach our goal. Take a moment to join our Cushman & Wakefield race team (even if you are unable to walk or run in the event). With your support, we can make all the difference in this worthwhile cause and the lives that depend on this research.
