The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cassidy Turley raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and support services for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!

This team will walk in honor of all the people of whom this team knows that are either living with a brain tumor or who has passed away for this terrible disease.  I also am walking in honor of all the wonderful new people that i have met along the way that too have been affected by this.  

Here are there names, if i have not mentioned someone please let me know and i will, with honor add their name. Passed away - Barbara age 53, Kenny , Joanne,  Dave, Keep Fighting - NEVER GIVE UP - Erin.........

Tributes: My mom (Barbara) was only 53 years old when she passed away from a terrible brain tumor (giloblastoma multiform). She fought this tumor hard for 9 months and under went two brain surgery's. She was my whole world, she was my mom and my best friend. She was also a loving wife to my dad (mark) and a grandmother. It breaks my heart that my kids will never get to truely know her as i did. Although her time on earth was short she will live on in our hearts forever.

Please help me honor all of these wonderful people by walking with me and supporting the cause. Together we can keep their memory alive, give hope and strenth to our surviors, and help in the fight to cure brain tumors so that no one else can be affected.
