Friends and Family,

Hello everyone.  I hope you all are doing well.  I am good.  What a strange time in our lives.  It’s hard to believe we’ve all been dealing with this pandemic for nearly a year now.  We’re making the most of this difficult situation and doing our best to remain COVID-free.  What else can you do?  Hopefully, by this summer, we’ll start to turn the corner and begin getting back to whatever the new normal will be.  I’m really looking forward to going out to eat, seeing a movie, and most of all - reconnecting with friends.  

Although bored, I am doing well. I’m still getting checkups every 4 months, and everything remains stable.  I’m grateful for all the help I’ve received over the years.  I have my friends and family to thank, as well as the many researchers and doctors who have helped me and many others along the way. To support ongoing research for treatments and cures I have once again formed a fundraising team: “Fitchett’s Friends – Kicking Cancer”.  I hope you will consider supporting my 2021 team with a donation. 

Like last year, this year’s Race for Hope DC will be a virtual event. It’s too bad.  I have always enjoyed getting back to DC and participating with my family and friends, but it’s not to be this year.  More information about the Race for Hope is available at the links provided, as well as Information on how you can make helpful donations to my team.  Let’s keep the momentum going like we did last year, and power through to the next when we can get out and enjoy each other’s company.
