Welcome to My Personal Page

Hello Everyone!
Anyone who knows me or my family personally knows that brain tumors have hit us close to home. For those of you who do not know, my dad, Steve Albright, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, a fatal form of brain cancer, in February of 2007. He passed away only 6 months later, in August 2007. From the moment he was diagnosed, my family and I have been doing what we can to help in the fight against brain tumors and brain cancer.
My dad was a great man and although we had just 19 years together, I shared a lot of great moments with him and learned a lot of lessons that I will carry with me through out my life and hope to pass along to my children. Among these qualities he has instilled in me the value of helping others. Although I do not have the opportunity to save my dad, I know one day we will have the opportunity to save someone else's dad, and that knowledge keeps me steadfast on the path to finding a cure. He also taught me dedication and that I have the ability to do anything I put my mind to. With that being said, it is my goal for Team Steve to raise $5,000 and to have at least 20 people run in the race. I know we can reach this goal!
This is the eighth year we will be having a team for the Race For Hope. Some of us will be running and some of us will be walking, but we will all be supporting this great cause and could use your help too! Please join us in this fight =)
The Race for Hope - DC presented by Cassidy Turley raises funds to support innovative research initiatives and support services for brain tumor patients and their families. This amazing event relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of individuals, families, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors. Thank you for your support in helping us find a cure for brain tumors!
