Welcome to My Personal Page
In September 2010, Kimberly Cooke Brown was diagnosed with brain cancer - a glioblastoma tumor that offered a median survival of 14 months. Through great medical care, prayers of her family and friends, and the blessings of God, we were fortunate to have her smile with us for 50 months.
Two of Kim's sorority sisters from Bucknell have created the team Kim's Kind. The word Kind is one that Father James Martin used at Kim's memorial service. He said that Kim showed great kindness not only to us, but also to God. Not questioning His motives, or why she was made to suffer, but passionately trusting in the Lord with all her heart. I'm grateful to Carol and Laurie for creating Kim's Kind.
I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure are making strides for a cure - but more needs to be done. Please join this important effort!
