Welcome to My Personal Page
Today I stand with others celebrating my 8th year as a brain tumor survivor. I am part of an elite group of individuals who have survived having a brain tumor. I was diagnosed in May 2010 with an Acoustic Neuroma. This tumor left me single sided deaf, unable to swallow and without a balance nerve in my right ear. Today, I am able to swallow better and my balance is stronger. I’ve accomplished more since surgery than I ever would have thought. I’ve completed five marathons, multiple triathlons and on my way to becoming an Ironman. I’m proud to share my story and how this race has impacted my life. I am uniting with others to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. I am passionate about this cause, so I’m taking action and need your help. National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure are making strides for a cure - but more needs to be done. Please join in my effort!
