Welcome to My Personal Page

I'm excited to be taking part in the Race for Hope DC 5K Run / Walk for a third year to honor my amazing mother, Beverly, who died in 2017 after battling an aggressive, inoperable astrocytoma brain tumor. I am passionate about this cause because it's so personal. Watching my mom's brave fight after such a devastating diagnosis made me want to do everything in my power to make sure that one day scientists will ultimately find a cure. My mom passed away less than two months after getting diagnosed. I'll be walking to make sure others with a similar diagnosis get more of a fighting chance to survive.
Race for Hope DC raises crucial funds for the National Brain Tumor Society, a non-profit that is leading the way in innovative brain cancer research. Please consider supporting our team -- Beverly's Brainiacs -- as we join forces with thousands of runners and walkers to raise money in the fight against brain tumors. If you're unable to join us in May, perhaps you'll consider making a donation to this worthy cause. Every dollar counts in the fight against brain tumors.
My mom was the most selfless person I've ever known so it's important to me to keep her spirit alive by helping others. We'll be racing for her and the thousands of other patients and their families whose lives have been turned upside down by a brain tumor diagnosis. Thank you so much for all your love and support.
