Freddy: our beloved uncle, dad, brother, son, husband, and friend was taken too soon from this earth by a vicious brain tumor. Although his life was cut short, in his 58 years of life Freddy gave us more laughs, generosity, and love than most would in 100 years. Even after his diagnosis in 2014, he showed us incredible strength and courage while he fought a tough battle against brain cancer. He put up a tough fight with surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and physical/occupational/speech therapy. Despite the bleak prognosis, Freddy beat the odds and made it 18 months post-surgery when the doctors predicted only 15 months. We owe it to Freddy to continue the fight against brain tumors so that current and future patients and families will not have to endure the pain of this terrible disease.
Our family is uniting together to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors. We are passionate about this cause, so we are going to be walking and running in the DC Race for Hope, but we need your help!
All donations go towards the National Brain Tumor Society and Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure to fund further research on brain tumors and make strides for a cure. Please join in our effort and donate!
